This spring I had the pleasure of hosting a styled shoot at the wedding venue Brickhouse Vineyard at Exeter, Devon. It was an amazing day with an all-woman, extremely talented team. There were such good vibes all around. As self-employed wedding vendors, we're usually working on our own or rushing around so it's nice to slow things down and have a chance to get creative with our colleagues.
Brickhouse Vineyard is an award-winning, exclusive-use wedding venue in the heart of Devon. It's run by a lovely family who go to great lengths to provide their couples with an amazing day. Their venue can accommodate up to 70 guests.
We started the day off with getting the venue ready for photos as well as getting our lovely models, Poppy & Nadia, in the hair and makeup chairs. We had Lisa from Makeup By Lisa Hannah working her magic with her completely cruelty-free kit and Amber from Amber Louise Bridal Hair creating stunning hair styles on both of our brides.

Nadia's bridal look was composed of a stunning gown from Brides At Waterfields, a lovely local bridal shop in Exeter, and an incredible, handmade hot-pink veil from Jess at W Collective. Her bouquet was crafted by Holly Hocks Florist with lush and bold florals.

Poppy had a three-piece pink suit on which matched the rest of the colour scheme perfectly. Both the brides more gorgeous handmade pearl jewellery from Coralie Jewellery.
While the team made the venue picture-perfect I was playing around with our stationery creating a fun flat-lay. Carly from With Bells On created an invitation suite as well as menus, a welcome sign and table name cards. She created the most fun, unique cake-themed with pinks and reds.

The rustic round house at Brickhouse Vineyard is perfect for wedding ceremonies. It has floor to ceiling windows at the back, creating perfect lighting and a lovely brick wall that the lovely Ebony from Confetti Events styled with floral arches and disco balls.

The ceremony decor had a maximalist meets editorial vibe with vibrant florals to mirror the couple's bursting love. We really wanted to push the typical conventions of wedding norms and create something fun and prideful with saturated colour and many, many, disco balls.
The wedding rings were lovingly hand-crafted by JWF Unique Designs and the vow booklets were made by Carly from With Bells On.

After the 'ceremony' we went outside and got some photos in the Margot Camper which could not have been more fitting for this shoot!
Brickhouse Vineyard is set amidst rolling hills, patchwork fields and a vineyard (obvs!) which looks incredible as a backdrop. Can you believe this was Poppy and Nadia's first time modelling! They're a real couple and just so cute and in love. We couldn't have asked for better models for this shoot.

One of the things I was most excited for was the cake! As a vegan, I wanted to make sure we used a vegan baker. Luckily Heidi from Blossom & Bee Bakery offered her services. She created the most insane cake I've ever eaten in my LIFE! It was so stunning and delicious. I sent her a few pictures of Lambeth cakes as inspo and she delivered with retro piping, cherries and strawberry pink tones.

Brickhouse Vineyard has a newly renovated barn that is perfect for a wedding breakfast.
River Rose Wedding Planner helped me to create a stunning tablescape with decor from Fika Event Hire, and she also helped everything run smoothly all day.
Our gorgeous brides walked into Chapel Roan (who else?!), which wrapped up the shoot perfectly and had us all dancing.
A massive thank you to all the wonderful suppliers who came together to turn my vision into reality and espeically to Beth at South West Wedding Stories who jumped in last minute to capture content for us all.
